Mobile social networking company MOKO.mobi (ASX:MKB) has revealed it has signed a deal with UK carrier O2 for its eponymous platform.
O2 will provide unmetered access to the MOKO.mobi social networking service, and provide links and promote it across its consumer portal.
The deal is MOKO.mobi's second in the UK, after a similar agreement with O2 rival Orange in March.
The two deals combined give MOKO.mobi access to over 50 million mobile customers in the UK, the company said.
The tie-up is also MOKO.mobi's fifth deal in Europe, with the company also providing the platform for Telefonica and Yoigo in Spain, KPN in the Netherlands, and Greece's main mobile operators.
The company has this calendar year also announced deals in Japan, Malaysia and the US.
MOKO.mobi expects revenue contribution from its agreement with O2 from the first quarter of calendar 2011.
Nominations for the 2012 ARN IT Industry Awards open on Tuesday, June 12.
