IT recruitment company, Candle, has revamped its corporate focus in response to the changing needs of the Australian IT industry.
The refresh to the business focus, particularly with its employee expansion, has been supported with the re-brand of the company, along with the launch of its new website
Newly appointed Candle executive general manager, Linda Trevor, said as general business activity and NBN Co hiring ramps up, it was essential to focus on talent attraction and capturing the best skilled employees for its client base.
“For Candle it’s going to be very much about the candidate, and this will result in us introducing some exciting innovations into the recruitment industry,” Trevor said.
A major part of the change was around the structure of the business in relation to Candle’s larger clients, which will see them serviced under a different delivery model within the Clarius brand. Candle is part of the Clarius Group of recruitment companies which also includes Lloyd Morgan, SouthTech, Alliance Recruitment and The One Umbrella.
“This will enable the business to better meet the volume requirements of these clients and focus on service levels and quality,” she said.
“It also means that the Candle business will be able to more strongly focus on SME clients and further establish its position as a leading specialist in IT recruitment, and given the footprint that the Clarius Group has across Australia, New Zealand and Asia, build the Candle brand in other geographic regions.”
“More and more we are seeing our clients looking for different levels and types of service delivery as dictated by the volume of their needs. No longer can IT recruitment offer one type of service to all clients. In recognition of this, we have taken the opportunity to tailor what we do around the changing needs of not only clients, but IT professionals.”
