Synnex signs with storage backup vendor Clickfree

Synnex has signed a new distribution agreement with storage backup vendor, Clickfree.
Clickfree’s range of goods will appeal to for small offices, households with more than one computer and is a good fit for Synnex channel partners, according to a statement.
The distributor has access to a select list of products including the vendor’s C2 Portable Backup, Traveller Flash Backup and Transformer for iPod/iPhone.
“It’s exciting helping companies launch products into a new market and we’re pleased to be working with Clickfree to help them do this in Australia,” Synnex CEO, Kee Ong said in the statement.
Clickfree vice-president of sales and marketing, Marco Manera, said Synnex was valued for its expertise in the Australian channel. Manera, was previously headed up Logitech in Australia and moved across to Clickfree in May.
