Welcome to Penalty Box, ARN's daily World Cup 2010 wrap.
- LATEST SCORES:
- WhiteGold Solutions (Holland) 3 vs Cisco (Uruguay) 2
WhiteGold Solutions are through to the final of the ARN World Cup aftera comprehensive victory over a game Cisco. The score flatters Cisco a little as its second goal came in the second minute of second-half injury time. WhiteGold was just too strong all over the park and had far too many class players. It went in at half-time with some hope after its class striker Diego Forlan had nullified an early Van Bronckhorst goal but efforts from Sneidjer and the legendary Arjen Robben in the 70th and 73rd minutes left Whitegold well in control.
NEXT GAMES: Anyware Computer Accessories (Spain) vs Triforce (Germany) 4.30am AEST on July 8.
What a cracker this one is: Anyware Computer Accessories which came into the Cup with tag of the best team in the world against the 13-goal scoring young Triforce. The winner is anybody guess but we think Anyware will not male the mistake of Triforce's previous opponents and leave a lot of space in which it can run in the midfield and up forward. It is that space and the speed of Triforce's counter-attacks that has devastated its earlier opponents resulting in those three four-goal hauls. In fact, this may well be a game of limited opportunities so we'll tip this one to go to extra time and Anyware Computer Accessories to emerge victors by a single goal and meet WhiteGold SOlutions in the final at 4am on MOnday morning (AEST).
