As the Anyware (Spain) team move through the finals stages, they come up against Unisys (Paraguay)at 4.30am on July 4 (AEST).
Seems like it could be an easy match for Anyware, they’re a good team on paper and Unisys will need to pull out some really strong tactics. They had a dull game against Bluechip (Japan) and ARN hopes that it was just one of their tactics to surprise spectators in this next match.
Anyware’s team captain, Cameron Anstee, is feeling full of confidence that the team can handle Unisys.
“I’m hoping that Torres can show some form that we will desperately need in the semi’s,” he said. “Villa has been the player of the tournament, but in the final four it's really about whom turns up ready to play, so hopefully we can put forward a real team effort.”
Unisys team captain, Claire Hosegood, said based on its terrific success so far, it will be a great game to watch.
"We may have been a bit of an underdog going into the World Cup but we've been playing a very tight game and have a great goal keeper," she said. "However, Anyware won't give in easily."
ARN is siding with Anyware as the favourites to win the match. But it’s been an intriguing Cup so far, it’s anyone’s game!
Nominations for the 2012 ARN IT Industry Awards open on Tuesday, June 12.
