The Storage Networking Industry Association (SNIA) has partnered with Dimension Data Learning Solutions (DDLS) to help improve industry skills.
Under the non-exclusive arrangement, DDLS will assume responsibility for the delivery of SNIA courses at its facilities across Australia. The arrangement replaces the course program previously managed by the SNIA management agency, Evito.
That agency will continue to monitor trainer accreditation and quality standards. It will provide support to DDLS in the form of course content updates and marketing.
SNIA vice-chairman, Clive Gold, said the organisation had felt that its efforts in training and up-skilling the industry had been slower than it would have liked, prompting the partnership with DDLS.
“We needed to broaden skills, and DDLS’ breadth and recognition as a leading education provider was attractive to us,” Gold said.
In a statement, DDLS general manager, David Gage, said the new partnership with SNIA was a good fit.
