Sydney-based distributor, Impact Systems, is looking to ramp up its staff headcount.
The distributor wants to add two junior sales staff to its business, bringing staff numbers up to 20.
“We’re looking for two young dynamic staff with at least a year’s worth of knowledge and background in IT,” Impact managing director, Peter Agamalis, said. “We’re looking for individuals that possess tenacity and a passion for success.”
He claimed those wanting more out of just selling would have the opportunity to be trained by an industry veteran. The latest plans coincide with plans to expand the business into different technology areas.
In March, Impact set its sights on adding a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) capability to its business model. Branded as its Whole of Services unit, it will look at providing managed services, online data and email hosting. It also provides helpdesk capabilities and ongoing reseller support.
To date, Agamalis said it has been attracting good sales but was still building collateral to go with it.
Nominations for the 2012 ARN IT Industry Awards open on Tuesday, June 12.
