Integ to double uptake of campsite IP network solution

Campsite Entertainment a hit with the Iron ore industry, according to the integrator

UXC subsidiary, Integ Group, has plans to double the uptake of its Campsite IP network solution in the coming months.

Integ’s Campsite Entertainment solution supports video-on-demand, television services, video gaming content and Internet. The integrator builds and manages services and applications on an IP network. To date, it has been rolled out to over 3000 campsite rooms in Western Australia and Queensland.

Campsite Entertainment has been in development over the past two years and is suitable for mine operations with campsites. Integ counts Karara Iron Ore Project in remote Western Australia as one of its early adopters and claimed the uptake solution had also been positive the iron ore industry.

“We already have a background delivering entertainment solutions in the hospitality market so we are now delivering that to the mining camps,” Integ CEO, Ian Poole, said. “We’ll probably have in excess of 8000 to 10,000 rooms completed in the next three months.”

Cost of Campsite Entertainment depends on what applications and services customers want and whether the integrator needs to install its own infrastructure equipment.
