Communications and collaboration provider, Broadreach, has become a Tandberg Authorised System Integrator.
The provider is already a Cisco Unified Communications Specialist, but wanted to achieve the Tandberg certification to help further demonstrate its service capabilities to partners. Broadreach works with other Cisco partners in supporting them with video.
Cisco acquired Tandberg in November for $US3.4 billion.
Broadreach CEO, Shaun Wormald, said it had made significant investments in working with Cisco-based partners.
“It made a lot of sense for us to get certified for Tandberg, because it’s so much a part of the Cisco portfolio for video,” he said.
To gain the Tandberg certification, Wormald said it had to go through a rigorous process, putting significant investment in equipment and staff training in areas including sales, engineering, consulting and project management.
“We’ve worked with Tandberg on a number of occasions, but the formal certification process is a rigid one,” he said.
