IP solutions vendor, Samsung Communications, has hired former Distribution Central staffer, Paul Bailye, to take on its newly created position of national channel manager.
The announcement comes after the vendor renewed its partnership with M2 subsidiary, Commander, to provide business telephony products.
“We’re expanding the business. Commander hasn’t expanded in a long time,” M2 Communications CEO, Vaughan Bowen, said at the time. “With our sales channel, which was formerly the Commander franchise network, we’ve been working with our dealers to add more sales people and account management personnel so we can reach more customers in the field and on the phone.”
According to a vendor statement, Bailye was formerly with unified communications business, Unity Systems, which is a subsidiary of Distribution Central that partners with Avaya.
Bailye is based out of Samsung Communications’ office in Melbourne.
