Hewlett-Packard on Tuesday shuffled executives, tapping an internal candidate, Tom Iannotti, to run the enterprise services business for the company.
Iannotti was previously the managing director and senior vice president of the Americas and Enterprise Business at HP. In his new role, Iannotti will be responsible "for driving growth" in the HP Enterprise Services business unit, which offers application, business processing and outsourcing services, HP said in a statement.
The Enterprise Services business was formed in September last year after the company integrated the operations of EDS, a services company HP acquired in 2008 for US$13.9 billion.
Iannotti will report to Ann Livermore, who is the executive vice president of the HP Enterprise Business unit. Iannotti will replace Joe Eazor, who has been appointed to the new role of senior vice president of corporate growth initiatives in HP's Office of Strategy and Technology.
In his new role, Eazor will develop growth strategies for HP's operations in developing countries like China, India. He will report to Shane Robison, HP's executive vice president and chief strategy and technology officer.
Nominations for the 2012 ARN IT Industry Awards open on Tuesday, June 12.
