National ISP, Internode, has appointed Frank Falco as its CIO after an 18-month on its Board.
Falco’s role will be to plan the evolution and coordinate integration of Internode’s core technology to support its growing business. The ISP has grown from 100 employees in 2005 to 450, and now has more than 180,000 broadband customers, from individuals to large corporations.
Falco joins a management team headed by CEO, Patrick Tapper. In a release, he said the use of broadband as a platform for services would be a key component of Internode’s business model moving forward.
“Broadband has gone from being just a service to a platform that delivers a range of services such as VoIP, private IP networks and IPTV. Enhanced telephony services present a big opportunity, both for our residential and business customers,” Falco said in the release.
