The organisation created to oversee the rollout of a National Broadband Network has brought on two more directors.
According to a Government statement, the appointments of Clem Doherty and Terrence Francis aim to bring commercial and industry experience to the NBNco board and its existing five members and one executive chair.
Doherty is an experienced member of Government taskforces and review panels. He previously worked as an advisor to telco companies. Francis, meanwhile, has experience in the banking and finance sector including a stint as managing director of Bank of America in Australia and executive director of Deutsche Bank locally.
Both men will commence their roles immediately.
