TransACT has landed a deal with the ACT Land Development Agency (LDA) to deliver fibre-to-the-premise (FTTP) services to medium density units in Canberra.
The agreement will affect 1800 new homes on Flemington Road between Franklin and Harrison and up to Gungahlin in the ACT. The ISP is collaborating with partners Alcatel-Lucent and Corning Cable on this project.
This agreement adds to the company’s FTTP coverage within the ACT, according to TransACT CEO, Ivan Slavich.
“TransACT now has a significant number of agreements in place to provide homes and businesses across the ACT with our advanced FTTP network – and this number is growing by the day,” he said in a statement.
The company’s ACT FTTP network spans Crace, Bonner, Franklin and Forde.
