Tandberg channel manager promoted

Videoconferencing vendor searches for new A/NZ channel manager to replace Adam Britten

Tandberg’s local channel manager, Adam Britten, has been promoted to Asia-Pacific channel director for the videoconferencing vendor.

Britten, who was profiled by ARN earlier this year, will be based in Sydney and take responsibility over driving the channel throughout the region. According to a statement from the company, the channel director joined Tandberg in 2006 after working in 3Com as northern region channel manager, Ingram Micro as networking manager and LAN Systems in an account management role.

“Adam Britten brings valuable industry and company experience to this new position and he will play an integral role in supporting the channel engine,” Tandberg president Asia-Pacific, Lars Ronning, said.

A spokesperson for the company said the vendor was looking for a replacement to fill the A/NZ channel manager role. They will work alongside Britten, who will now oversee Australia, China, Hong Kong, India, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, New Zealand, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam.
