Cellnet drops Jabra from vendor ranks

Cellnet has terminated its relationship with Jabra, citing unreliable supply of products which made customer support difficult.
The ASX-listed distributor’s CEO, Stuart Smith, said, customer service was critical across its retail and telecoms operations.
“Jabra gave us erratic and unreliable supply – our customers would catalogue products, and Jabra was not delivering them on time,” Smith said.
“The partnership was a very small and immaterial part of our business, and leaves no gaps in our portfolio – we have alternative vendors on-board, and more announcements to come.”
Jabra was initially marked by Cellnet to replace its lost partnership with rival vendor, Blue Ant, late last year. A month later, Jabra unveiled a partner program to improve its channel engagement.
Jabra had not returned calls for comment at time of publication.
Cellnet is expecting to return to profitability for the first-half to December 31, and recently forecast a $700,000 profit for the half.
