Emantra has topped a strong list of 50 technology companies bucking the global economic trend in the Deloitte Fast 50 list for 2009.
The Queensland-based cloud computing provider experienced massive growth of 1756.29 per cent over the past year. The result comes after it ramped up efforts to grow a reseller base last year. Emantra was well ahead of second place holder, nSynergy, which reported 1209.40 per cent growth.
Other technology companies on the list included Mint Wireless, which was fourth, as well as fourth on the BRW Fast 100 earlier this year.
ASX-listed M2 Communications, which purchased Commander’s SMB operations in June, ranked ninth. Revolution IT had its third consecutive year in the list and took tenth place.
Networking vendor, Netcomm, which previously flagged big plans for its 2009 to ARN, came 12th, with Thomas Duryea 13th and Distribution Central 17th.
Brennan IT, which was involved in the controversial purchase of S Central assets earlier this month, was 22nd on the list, while security specialist distributor, AVG (AU/NZ), came 35th with 140.76 per cent growth.
