State of the market

  • The markets have plummeted following significant falls on Wall St. last week. At 11:19am, the S&P/ASX200 was down 114.5 points
  • Faltering confidence has added to currency worries with the Aussie dollar buying $US0.8977. Gold is down to $US1040.4 an ounce while oil prices have fallen by 3.73 per cent to $US77 a barrel
