Vodafone has revealed it will be offering RIM's latest smartphone, the BlackBerry Storm2, in the UK from the end of October.
The smartphone, which is an update on last year's BlackBerry Storm, features a 3.25in 360x480 touchscreen with BlackBerry's new SurePress technology, which provides tactile feedback when the touchscreen is pressed.
Users will also benefit from Wi-Fi connectivity, a function that was not available on the previous version, as well as built-in GPS, 3G and Bluetooth connectivity.
The BlackBerry Storm2 will be available on Vodafone this month
The BlackBerry Storm2 has a 2GB internal memory that can expanded with a micro-DS card up to 32GB and also comes with a 3.2Mp camera with zoom, flash and video capture capabilities.
Vodafone said the BlackBerry Storm2 will be available free to users that take out a 24 month contract with 600 minutes of talk-time, unlimited texts and unlimited access to the web, at a cost of £35 per month.
