Cloud computing provider, Brennan IT, has launched a new channel program around its cloud business.
The first solution on offer is an Infrastructure-as-a-Service solution, aimed at giving partners an avenue to extend the value they can offer customers with new solutions.
Brennan head of product and marketing, Nick McMenemy, said in the six months since the cloud service had launched, there had been a number of customers coming directly that would be better served through a mutual partner.
McMenemy said partners would be able to offer cloud infrastructure as an additional solution when approaching their own customers.
“We’re seeing interest from ISVs as they migrate towards software-as-a-service, as they look to bundle the infrastructure in,” he said. “The feedback we’re getting at this stage is that it’s a good way to get into the market quickly.”
Brennan's first reseller under the program is Markinson Business Software Solutions. McMenemy said it would be selective about channel partners, as it wanted this solution to be a value-add.
