Nero has launched its new Nero MobileSync for smartphones platform designed to allow better content management between the desktop, mobile handset and Web.
The platform permits users to sync and transfer media files, create and import playlists, play music and video as well as send SMS/MMS messages from their PC via phone or Web. Unlike existing products that are bound to a specific handset manufacturer, Nero MobileSync enables content to be managed across the desktop, mobile handset and Web regardless of the mobile device.
In a statement, Nero AG CEO, Udo Eberlein said the Nero MobileSync will enable users to unify separate types of digital content created by consumers on mobile devices. The platform offers a range of customisable components including user interface and workflow to exchange into existing applications.
Nero MobileSync is available to mobile original equipment manufacturers now through Nero at www.nero.com.
Nominations for the 2012 ARN IT Industry Awards open on Tuesday, June 12.
