New Star in Hitachi’s Sky

The vendor introduces new interactive display

Hitachi has released its StarBoard T-19WX Interactive Display which allows users to deliver presentations and write digital notes for projection on a larger screen.

In a statement, StarBoard products specialist for Hitachi Australia, James Burke, said the unit delivered the functionality of a full-size interactive whiteboard for users with limited space or budget. Weighing 5.4kg and measuring 57.8cm across, the unit has a widescreen 16:10 aspect ratio and writing resolution of 1000 lines-per-inch.

Other features include handwriting recognition, an adjustable tilt stand and Video Electronics Standards Association (VESA) mount. The unit is customisable using its software shortcuts and comes with wireless pen. The ergonomic tablet design utilises an icon-driven interface and enables presentation in whiteboard mode or annotation directly over windows applications and digital videos.

Driven by the Hitachi suite of presentation tools, the StarBoard’s collaborative software also allows users to connect multiple units for simultaneous co-annotation and viewing.

The unit is available now through Hitachi distributors.
