Tonight's the night. The third annual ARN IT Industry Awards 2009 are here and anticipation about who will be honoured is high.
More than 70 finalists are eagerly awaiting the judges’ decision across the 15 judging-based awards categories. The full list of finalists for 2009 is now available online in our special ARN IT Industry Awards section.
Vendors vying for a title on the night include former award-winners, HP, Microsoft and VMware, along with heavyweights such as Cisco, APC, D-Link, IBM, Lenovo, Intel Symantec and Citrix.
Competition for our new award, Best Distributor Initiative, is also intense and includes familiar faces like Ingram Micro, Westcon Group, itX, Express Data and Distribution Central.
And across our Reseller categories, a collection of well-known and niche players are in the running for gongs, including Data#3, Thomas Duryea, Frontline Systems, CeTech, Correct Solutions and PKBA.
We’ll also be announcing the winners of the online-based Channel Choice awards on the night, along with three industry greats as Hall of Fame inductees for 2009.
In the lead-up to the awards, ARN has put together a special video series looking at the challenges of the past year, where channel opportunities lie, and what’s ahead in 2010. You can check out this video series by clicking here.
Nearly 600 people are expected to descend on the Hilton Hotel in Sydney for this special industry event. ARN wishes all finalists the best of luck.
And keep your eye on our website, www.arnnet.com.au, for the winners and photos from the evening later this week.
