- Data #3 continues to fly well with a 46 per cent increase in final revenue, but its outlook remains conservative.
- Pipe Networks (ASX:PWK) has tested its Sydney to Guam optic fibre link. The company aims to break into the tight market by offering an alternative international link to the duopoly of Southern Cross Cable Network and Australia Japan Cable.
- The telco sector is copping flack for widespread customer dissatisfaction and continuing complaints.
State of the market
- The S&P/ASX200 declined in morning trading after yesterday’s strong gains. It then held its ground for the rest of the day, closing at 4405.8.
- The Aussie dollar is down and currently buys $US0.8363. Gold is also trading lower at $US943.7 an ounce. Oil is continuing to gain ground and sells for $US74.4 a barrel.
