  • Ouch, Oakton. A 48.8 per cent dip in profits. Yet the company remains positive.
  • On the other side of the fence sits CSG, which reported a 24 per cent increase to profits.
  • Dicker Data has ramped up its datacentre play with a new partnership.

State of the market

  • Despite predictions of a slump following a bad night on Wall Street, the market held on remarkably well. After opening more than 30 points down, it steadied during the day. The ASX 200 finished just 6.8 points down at 4381.6.
  • The Aussie dollar is buying $US0.8260. Gold is trading down at $US935.8 an ounce while oil is selling for $US66.8 a barrel.
