Samsung, in partnership with Optus, has brought the Samsung NC10 to the Australian market.
The netbook is available under one of two plans - My Wireless Netbook 2GB for $49.99 per month and the My Wireless Netbook 5GB for $69.99 per month for a minimum 24-month contract. A 10.2-inch notebook, the NC10 will be available exclusively to Optus customers.
In a statement, national product and marketing manager of Samsung Australia IT division, Emmanuele Silanesu, said the arrangement was the first time the vendor had partnered with a telecommunications provider.
“By leveraging our existing relationship with Optus, together we have succeeded in delivering an all-in-one solution,” Silanesu said in the release.
Both plans offer customers the Samsung NC10 netbook computer with an embedded Optus Wireless Broadband (OWB) service that works on the Optus dual band (900/2100MHz) mobile network.

optus netbook offer
Who will take this offer seriously? I mean, 5gb! What can you do with that? Only check your email, a tiny bit of browsing. No serious fun with the cute little netbook. $69.99 is a lot of money for such a small download. Why be so pathetically stingy? Try 15GB minimum for a real offer.
