Business technology services provider, Avanade, has promoted two of its staff to higher responsibility positions.
Jeyan Jeevaratnam is the company’s new vice-president for Australia and New Zealand, replacing Craig Dower, who has been promoted to Asia-Pacific president and general manager of South-East Asia, Australia and China.
Jeevaratnam was previously vice-president of sales and marketing for Avanade Australia. His new role will involve leading Avanade’s sales growth in Australia and New Zealand and continuing to build lasting relationships with customers and business partners.
“Jeevaratnam has done a terrific job in leading our sales efforts over the past two years, and brings more than 20 years’ experience in a variety of sales and management roles in the information communications technology industry,” Dower said in a release.
“His technical understanding combined with his extensive strategic business and marketing experience offers Avanade an outstanding manager in these critical markets.”
