Marshal8e6 has announced the release of its hosted security service, MailMarshal as a Service.
The vendor claims the new service is the first in the market to allow users’ customisation of their email security and content filtering settings.
Marshal8e6 is working with Perth-based hosted application and service provider, YOURasp, to host MailMarshal as a Service and manage its delivery to customers.
In a statement, YOURasp regional sales manager, Bob Grove, said hosted email security is "always up to date and [clients’ know] they are always protected from the latest security threats”.
Customers will be able to access a range of utilities including anti-spam, antivirus, content filtering and image analysis technology through the service’s MailMarshal SMTP functionality and Defense in Depth engines.
In a statement, Marshal8e6 Asia-Pacific vice-president of sales, Jeremy Hulse, said MailMarshal will allow users to “control outgoing communications at their gateway while at the same time blocking spam”.
MailMarshal as a Service is priced on a per-user, per-month basis. Bundles start at $2.50 per-user, per-month for up to 200 users.
