Ingram Micro announces cash-prize channel winners

Sydney companies dominate the $200,000 jackpot

Ingram Micro has announced the winners of its $200,000 Biggest Promotion in the Channel competition.

Sydney-based companies took out three of the top four places. Metropolitan Computers and Supplies from Sydney won first prize and $110,000.

Melbourne's City Software came second and won $50,000. The $20,000 third and fourth prizes were awarded to Sydney companies Compar Holdings and I Know IT, respectively.

The competition ran from November 12, 2008, to April 30. 2009. Partners received an entry in the draw for each eligible product sold. More than 500 partners participated.
