The Australian Taxation Office (ATO) is hunting for a senior midrange developer to care for the agency’s Superannuation .Net and Visual Basic (VB) systems.
Applicants should be proficient in developing web-based applications with Microsoft .Net set of technologies, according to tender documents. Skills in servicing multi-layered architecture within an enterprise framework and proven experience with either .Net VB or Net C# are also a must.
The one-year role – with an optional one-year extension - is based in Canberra and the winning candidate will be tasked with delivering new functionality for the ATO’s SuperSeeker and Portability Form project. The position also involves mentoring existing staff to enhance the CERCOS and DASP.
The tender closes 2pm on August 10. Evaluation of bids ends on August 4.
This tender invitation follows on from the ATO’s calls for mainframe technical specialists to provide support to its mainframe developer base early last month.
A tender was also opened for a system tester to assess the agency’s ICT infrastructure.
