NSC has won a tender to provide TPG/Soul with RAD technology to enable inexpensive, fast Ethernet services.
Through the partnership, TPG/Soul will introduce a new Broadband Ethernet service called Ethernet over First Mile (EFM) that will deliver speeds of up to 10Mbps.
“The key result of this tender is that TPG/Soul can offer those kinds of connection speeds for businesses who may typically only be able to afford a 2Mbps connection – I believe the connection is being offered at under $1000 per month,” NSC network solutions manager, Matt Sully, said.
“In turn that better enables a host of unified communications solutions for the customer.”
The tender was a competitively won deal, and represents the first significant RAD win NSC has experienced since forming a partnership with the vendor a year ago.
Sully said RAD has become a significant focus for the integrator, with three sales, two marketing and one pre-sales staff dedicated to the business.
NSC also recently won business with Vision Australia and has added headcount to its managed services and substantially increased its Sun practice.
