Windows 7 assured if you buy a Vista PC from today

New Vista owners will receive Windows 7 upgrade for little or no cost, assures Microsoft.
Starting today, businesses and consumers who purchase copies of Windows Vista Home Premium, Business or Ultimate will be assured of an upgrade to Windows 7 at little or no cost, when the latter is released later this year.
The upgrade option varies by PC manufacturer to retailer, and is redeemable till end February 2010.
Windows 7 will be available come October 22 in 14 languages -- English, Spanish, Japanese, German, French, Italian, Dutch, Russian, Polish, Brazilian Portuguese, Korean, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese & Traditional Chinese (HK). Versions of Windows 7 in all other languages will hit shelves on October 31.
Nominations for the 2012 ARN IT Industry Awards open on Tuesday, June 12.
