Less than three months into the job, Telstra (ASX: TLS) wholesale general managing director, Nerida Caeser, has passed the torch to Paul Geason. Geason, executive director of enterprise and government convergent sales since 2006, will take up his new title on June 30. He was responsible for marketing and sales of voice, data, mobile and unified communications for enterprise and government.
Geason’s new role will see him manage the wholesale team to provide products and services to the domestic and global markets.
Caeser, meanwhile, has moved on to become the telco’s enterprise and government general managing director.
In a press statement, Geason said he would work to ensure wholesale customers could take advantage of Telstra’s offerings in today’s tough regulatory climate.
Geason previously worked with the company in its legal division and product management teams between 1994-2005. Prior to his relationship with Telstra, he was the senior sales vice-president for US-based company, Netcracker Corporation.
In its statement, Telstra CEO, David Thodey, said Geason’s experience in his former Telstra role and dealing with difficult situations made him well-suited for the job.
