PrintFleet double dips with Phoenix and Alloys distributor deals

Phoenix Toner and Alloys have signed on to become distributors for print management vendor, PrintFleet.
PrintFleet software solutions enable resellers to implement and track meter and supply solutions with a range of database and inventory management tools.
PrintFleet Asia-Pacific CEO, Graham Harman, said the distributor appointments were driven by the demands of a number of traditional copier resellers losing business to those offering print management solutions.
“A lot of these resellers are buying consumables from Phoenix Toner and Alloys, so it made sense to partner with both distributors to help those resellers offer solutions with a minimal level of training,” he said. “My immediate goal is to bed down the partnership with these two, but at the same time neither has a huge presence in Queensland, so I am talking to a distributor there.”
Phoenix Toner general manager, Don Bentley, said the software will be the core element to its print management offering, which it has rebranded PrintView.
“PrintFleet gives us what we wanted to offer in the program,” he said. “We’ve identified that the Australian marketplace is making the move to print management solutions, so we wanted a comprehensive solution that will help partners understand what the end user is doing.”
Alloys has also rebranded the PrintFleet solution as Alloys Assist. In a release, Alloys director, Dave Guttmann, said the distributor saw PrintFleet as an invaluable tool in terms of helping resellers gather information and capture revenue while enhancing margins.
