IT distributor, Anyware Computer Accessories, has joined Kaspersky Lab’s new channel program as a platinum partner.
Last week, Kaspersky Lab launched its new channel program with a three-tier system.
Marketing manager for Anyware, Steve Grant, said the new top-tier partnership would allow the company to diversify its offerings and capture some of the growing security solution sector.
“We’ll have access to a whole range of pre- and post-technical support and services, training, a certification curriculum, and an increased level of marketing support,” Grant said. “It’s going to have a broad-based appeal, everything from smaller operations through to larger resellers.”
Grant said resellers could look forward to point-of-sale material, leaflets, brochures and cheat-sheets, but the two companies had yet to finalise marketing and training programs.
“We’ll hopefully be rolling something out in the next six to twelve months. There will obviously be an escalating scale of training and marketing campaigns which we will be implementing.”
Early last month, Kaspersky Lab signed a multi-million dollar sponsorship deal and it joined forces with retail giant Officeworks in late April in an effort to boost its product recognition.
