Toshiba has unveiled a NB200 mini-notebook range.
Powered by a 1.66GHz Intel Atom Processor, the mini-laptop range can carry up to a 160GB hard disk drive (HDD).
The diminutive notebook weighs in at 1.18kg and comes with a 3 cell battery that offers up to three and a half hours of power. It features a 10.1-inch widescreen LED backlight display and a desktop standard 19mm pitch keyboard for ease of typing.
A 3D-accelerometer monitoring system can detect free falls, shocks and vibration and mitigates them by moving the HDD head from between the platters to protect the data.
The notebook also includes a Bluetooth interface, three USB 2.0 slots and has and Energy Star rating of 5.
The NB200 comes in a variety of colours and is available now.
