Project services firm, PM-Partners group, has promoted company co-founder, Peter Swan, to managing director

Swan takes over from Philip Belcher, who was the interim CEO since PM-Partners merged with project delivery organisation, ITPM, to form PM-Partners group in 2008. Belcher will remain in the company over the next month to finalise the transition.

“I’ve known Philip Belcher for more than 14 years,” Swan said. “When our company decided on the merger, I asked him to come on-board for 12-18 months to help with the integration of the merger and to help establish us for growth.”

The new managing director will maintain a hands-on role in the company.

“My main concern is to make sure our services align to our customers’ needs,” Swan said. “We have made changes in the way we offer services and the way we take services to the market so I will be working closely with clients and the consulting team as well as looking after sales and marketing.”

Three principle consultants have been hired to take over work from Swan’s previous role of consulting director.

Prior to his involvement with PM-Partners group, Swan had experience in project management and consultation with AT&T and IBM. He was service manager for Datacraft before forming PM-Partners with Steve Hewitson in 1997.

Swan reports to the board of PM-Partners group.
