Interactive Intelligence has unveiled a new training centre to further support its channel as it looks to start targeting key verticals.
The North Sydney-based training facility will begin providing two-week courses to partners from May. Previously partners had to travel overseas to complete the courses, which are required for certification.
“It’s just a matter of supporting our channel better,” said Interactive Intelligence country manager, Brendan Maree. “We have 11 partners now, and are looking at growing our channel through strategic targeting, rather than flood the market with partners offering the same solutions.”
The classes have been capped at eight per course, due to the intensive requirement on the educator, Maree said. Interactive Intelligence will run its second series of classes in July, and has already had three partners sign up.
Finance, education, council and contact centres are the key areas of focus for the IP business communications solutions provider, Maree said.
