Linksys by Cisco Media Hub
Designed to simplify access to and interaction with digital content, the Media Hub gathers, organises and presents all digital video, photos and music files users have spread across various devices in the home. According to Linksys, sharing media on multiple devices within the home will be easy through the unit’s media and iTunes server capabilities. The Media Hub automatically searches the network for other media devices to present all available digital media to the user in a single location using a browserbased user interface. Music albums are consolidated and presented together, while photos and videos are illustrated by thumbnail images organised by date or name. All media can be located via a search function. The Media Hub can have remote access enabled as well, allowing users to stream and download media to the home network using a Web browser anywhere. Other features include on-demand and automatic backup, extra hard drive bay, USB ports and an fl ash card reader.
Distributed by Express Data, Ingram Micro, Multimedia Technology and Westcon Group.
