Melbourne-based service provider, Netsolutions, has appointed Erin Harte as general manager and Richard Savage as principal consultant.
Harte will help grow the business through a consultancy-based approach and look at enhancing the company’s managed service and managed security business.
He previously worked for technology investment company, GGI, as general manager. Harte held the same position at DMZ Global.
“The string he will add to our bow is architecting managed services around security and networking,” managing director, Theo Dimopoulos, said. “The key thing for us right now is to make sure the business runs and you have someone with that type of skill in the background managing and growing the business, while I can focus on the strategic parts of it.”
Savage’s responsibilities include developing networking and security solutions for major enterprise accounts and strategic service provider customers.
Prior to joining Netsolutions, Savage worked for Juniper Networks as its senior systems engineer. His resume also includes senior roles at Sytec.
This year, the Juniper partner, also plans to expand into other locations and has set its sights on NSW and Queensland.
“We’re going to move into other states but take the success that we’ve had in Victoria and the methodologies around the way that we execute business and start to blueprint it into other parts of the country where customers can benefit from our levels of service,” Dimopoulos said.
“We do a lot of work nationally and the key is to grow the organisation with foundations in Melbourne but have a national presence. We’ve had a lot of success in Adelaide, around Adelaide University and the Catholic Education Office in SA and Victoria.”
