This year’s Sydney expotech thrust into the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre on Tuesday, with 52 exhibitors and nearly 1000 attendees. The events manager and marketing team, after months of preparation, worked tirelessly from early in the morning to build the exhibition, then dismantle it again after the show closed.
The trade exhibition featured a new ‘Update@expotech’ stage with presentations by CA, Citrix, Microsoft - launching the first public viewing of Windows 7, and an IT accessories parade, where the latest gadgets were presented by stunning models.
SIGN09 and Green IT educational forums ran prior to the exhibition where resellers learnt about the opportunities of digital signage and green IT solutions.
Over 20 vendors donated multiple prizes which were given to plenty of lucky resellers attending expotech.
Plenty of positive feedback has been received about the presence of so many large vendors. The layout of the exhibition and the new concept of product areas being laid out in designated boulevards have also received high praise.
The show is now in transit to Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre where Queensland resellers will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in the expotech exhibition on Wednesday 22 April 2009.
