IBM Australian partners recognised at Business Partner Summit

IBM partners honoured for their achievements during events in Sydney and Melbourne

IBM recently held its Business Partner Summit across Sydney and Melbourne. The annual event included presentations and insights from key IBM personalities on sales strategies, opportunities for growth in the tough economic climate, partner incentives and support for 2009, and details on IBM’s Smarter Planet initiative.

Awards were also handed out to honour partner achievements during 2008. The IBM Global Services Business Partner Leadership Award went to Independent Systems Integrators (ISI), while the Fastest growing new partner was awarded to C&M Computer Solutions from Western Australia. Other national awards went to:

  • Distributor of the Year - Avnet Technology Solutions
  • System x Business Partner of the Year - Fujitsu Australia
  • Power Systems Business Partner of the Year - Data #3
  • Best Performing New System x Business Partner - Computer Merchants
  • IBM Business Partner Hall of Fame - Data #3
  • IBM Business Partner Hall of Fame - Tardis Services

State-based awards were presented to:

  • Solution Provider of the Year, NSW - Artis Group
  • Reseller of the Year, NSW - RDA Group
  • Best New Partner, NSW - Inspire IT
  • Total Storage Business Partner of the Year, NSW - Tardis Services
  • GTS Business Partner of the Year, NSW- Tardis Services
  • Reseller of the Year, Queensland - Newbase
  • GTS Business Partner of the Year, Queensland - Computer Merchants
  • Business Partner of the Year, SA - Hood Sweeney Technology
  • Best New Partner, SA - Tapestry Systems
  • Solution Provider of the Year, Victoria - Advent One
  • Best New Partner, Victoria - Network Logistics Management Australia
  • Reseller of the Year, Victoria - Winthrop Australia
  • Total Storage Business Partner of the Year, Victoria - Southern Cross
  • GTS Business Partner of the Year, Victoria - Hyro
  • Solution Provider of the Year, WA - Datacom Systems
