Ingram Micro's trade exhibition, expotech 2009, got off to a great start in Canberra last week with 20 exhibitors and over 125 resellers in attendance.
Commercial sales and marketing director, John Walters, addressed the crowd at this year’s new venue, the National Convention Centre Canberra, and presented prizes on behalf of new vendor EMC, as well as Adobe, Kyocera, Microsoft, Toshiba and Logitech. Recently appointed managing director, Jay Miley, was also on-hand for his first ExpoTech to meet with ACT resellers the vendor community.
Ingram Micro, through the support of our vendor partners, is pleased to be able to provide this great opportunity for resellers to meet and network with their community and vendors of the channel.
Canberra was the starting city for this year’s national trade exhibition and the first big show will open its doors in Sydney on March 17. Sydney expotech will see 55 exhibitors showcasing their wares, complemented by educational forums on green IT and SIGN09, where resellers will learn about the latest in environmental IT solutions and the emerging opportunity of digital signage.
New at expotech this year will be the ‘update@expotech’ stage, showcasing vendor presentations and an exciting IT accessories parade.
Nominations for the 2012 ARN IT Industry Awards open on Tuesday, June 12.
