HP Solution Partner Organisation director, Paul Robson, is switching chairs to head up the vendor’s Australian Enterprise Server and Storage (ESS) division.
He replaces former chief, Stephen Bovis, who was promoted to the role of vice-president and general manager of industry standard servers for Asia-Pacific and Japan earlier this month.
It is understood HP is now on the hunt for a replacement to head up the Solution Partner Organisation (SPO).
Robson was appointed to head up SPO in May 2007 following the departure of Martin Dare.
Robson started with Compaq in 1999 as a product marketing manager, then eventually moved up to group director of product marketing for HP’s Personal Systems Group.
HP had not returned requests for comment at the time of going to press.
