Emantra has appointed three new staff members
Software-as-a-service (SaaS) provider, Emantra, has made three appointments on the back of substantial revenue growth.
The Microsoft Gold Certified partner has recruited Greg Jones joins as general manager of operations, David Starrenburg as the new technical support engineer, and Natalie Smith as accounts and administration manager.
Emantra general manager, Ross Dewar, said the three appointments were all newly created roles, and would help handle the 50 per cent monthly revenue growth the company has experienced since September last year.
“I would expect to be making another two appointments before the end of June,” Dewar said. “We’re quite a lean organisation in terms of staff, as we’re quite automated, but there’s 10 of us now and it’ll grow to a dozen soon.”
Dewar said the extra staff would be in specialist technology areas. “I’d be looking for a Microsoft Exchange technician and a Unified Communications specialist,” he said.
Dewar said the surge in demand was due to the economic climate, which was bringing large corporate and government clients to the business that hadn’t previously considered managed services.
