YOURasp to filter email through Marshal8e6

Hosting provider brings the MailMarshal Service Provider Edition on-board with rebranding options for resellers

Application and Internet service provider, YOURasp, has joined with Marshal8e6 to deliver hosted email filtering to its customers.

Under the deal, YOURasp’s 400 resellers will be able to provide a hosted email screening service through MailMarshal Service Provider Edition. YOURasp regional sales manager, Bob Grove, said the partnership was a symbiotic one for the hosting provider, and came at a time when it was looking for email security software.

“Marshal8e6 supports our McAfee alliance, is customisable and allows our resellers to do a degree of rebranding,” Grove said. “We trialled a number of different services, but found we needed a broader brushed product, which we got with MailMarshal.”

YOURasp will offer MailMarshal SPE bundled with Microsoft Exchange Server.

“There’s a fair few of our resellers who have more work than they can deal with. The tightening of belts has created more work in managed services, but at the same time our resellers are finding cross-selling more difficult,” Grove said.

“Systems integrators are starting to take on managed services now, as well, where previously they preferred to build the boxes themselves.”
