Evanscorp brings home Microsoft Gold

Evanscorp has been awarded Microsoft Gold Certification

Wollongong-based software development outfit, Evanscorp, has been awarded Microsoft Gold Certification.

Evanscorp managing director, Phil Evans, said to gain the certification status, it had to obtain some customer references. The ISV developed Remunerate, which is an employee compensation tool that aims to improve an organisation’s business processes through managing employee pay reviews, including remuneration and bonus reviews.

“It’s not just a case of having software, it’s actually getting customers to stand up behind us, which is very gratifying,” he said. “Going forward it gives us access to lots of Microsoft software.”

Evans said the status also gave Evanscorp access to Microsoft’s partner network.

“They’ve got some marketing tools and various other events that we can also leverage,” he said.

Evanscorp is currently looking for more resellers.

Evans said Remunerate is mainly targeted at corporate organisations with more than 1000 seats.

“Our long term plan is to focus on the software and let other people do the delivery,” he said. “We’re looking for human resource consultants, and we have a partner in Scotland, which is one of them. We’re also looking for IT companies that have got relationships with corporate environments.”
