Some Optus corporate customers in the Sydney CBD experienced an interruption to their telephony and DSL services on Monday afternoon following a power failure in one of the telco’s data centres.
The power-out occurred at 3pm in an Optus building located on Elizabeth St.
“Optus worked with our energy provider and restored services as a matter of urgency with all services back up and running by 5.30pm,” said an Optus spokesperson.
“We cannot confirm how many customers have been impacted.”
