Eric Krieger has left Secure Computing
Secure Computing country manager, Eric Krieger, has parted ways with the security vendor after it was purchased by McAfee in September.
Krieger spent eight years with Secure, and said the acquisition provided an opportunity to take a break.
“It was a mutual parting and I thought I had done my duty there. I’m going to take about three or four months off and spend some time with the family,” he said.
"There is a couple of things that have come up and I’m looking at those at the moment."
McAfee marketing director, Alan Bell, said Krieger had departed before the acquisition was complete and could not comment on whether or not it would be looking to replace him.
Bell said Secure Computing had been integrated inside McAfee under its network security business unit.
“We are maintaining the existing channel and as far as I’m aware there haven’t been any changes to our strategy,” Bell said.
