Kroll Ontrack beefs up service partner program

Data recovery provider sets itself the goal of educating partners about its services
Tags | Kroll Ontrack

Data recovery provider, Kroll Ontrack, has expanded its service partner program in an attempt to better educate its channel and customers.

The program now involves a licensing option, allowing partners to license Kroll Ontrack proprietary software for the purpose of data recovery, email recovery and data security. Additionally, partners are able to access reseller discounts and referral commissions.

The vendor will also support partners with technical training and updates and has pledged a commitment to improving the program's effectiveness.

Kroll Ontrack general manager Asia-Pacific, Adrian Briscoe, said its partners were experiencing a growing need to offer data recovery to customers.

"There are some two million small businesses in Australia, and we need to make them, and our partners aware of our service and how they can be used to solve an organisation's data recovery problems," Briscoe said.

"At the moment, some partners are much more active than others. It's being treated as an ad-hoc service in some cases."
